Airway-Centered Clear Aligners · Alexandria, VA
Thinking about clear aligners? At Green Dentistry, we do more than create straight smiles. Dr. Park takes an airway-centered, whole-body approach, so your treatment supports better breathing, a comfortable bite, and your overall health.
More Than a Straight Smile
At Green Dentistry, clear aligner treatment is about more than appearance. We take a holistic approach that considers how your bite affects the rest of your body. We focus on:
The goal is not only a beautiful smile, but a healthy, functional bite that supports your overall well-being. If snoring or restless sleep is your main concern, our sleep and airway care page goes into more detail, and jaw pain or clenching is covered on our TMJ treatment page.

Your Plan
Every smile is different. We start with a consultation and a comfortable digital scan, then design a plan that fits your goals and your bite.
Because our approach is airway-centered, we look at how alignment affects your breathing and jaw, not just how your teeth look.
Dr. Park guides your care personally, from your first scan to your final result.

Common Questions
Yes. Green Dentistry offers Invisalign clear aligners at our Alexandria office on Prince Street, including Invisalign Teen and Limited Invisalign for smaller corrections. Dr. Hye Park also offers Spark clear aligners, along with airway-centered orthodontic treatment. Your consultation covers which option suits your bite and your goals.
Airway-centered orthodontics looks at how the position of your teeth and jaws relates to your breathing, not only at how your smile looks. Dr. Park is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and she reviews your airway and your bite together when planning treatment. You can read more on our sleep and airway page.
No. Clear aligner treatment uses a series of removable, see-through trays rather than fixed metal brackets and wires. Many of our patients choose aligners because they prefer to limit the metal involved in their care, which fits naturally with our biological approach to dentistry.
The starting point is a consultation and a comfortable digital scan. Dr. Park reviews your bite, your jaw comfort, and your airway, then walks you through whether Invisalign, Spark, or another approach is the better fit for you.
